Pretty Paperwork for 2013

The New Year has begun and I like many of us have a few New Years resolutions. A high priority on my list is to keep all our important documents for both our home & our business organised. 

Now, this can be a difficult resolution to keep if administration is not your thing, hopefully the labels we have designed and made available for download will help you to categorize and keep your documents together in a pretty filing system. The best part is when you are looking for a specific piece of paper work you are more likely to find it.

Receipts are also one of those pesky little items that get hidden in drawers, in folders and you may just find one washed up in the back of your jeans pocket. With this in mind we came up with an idea at our office to pop all the receipts we collect during the month into a large consol cookie jar ready to file at month end. Print out a button to label both your personal and business receipt jars.

"I think you're Movelous" {Movember}

Yipppeee, today is our DIY on theprettyblog.

It’s Movember & we are celebrating, “Keeping Men Healthy”! If you’re not too sure what all the hype around Movember is then check out this super cool, informative post by Nicola from theprettyblog to find out a little more on what Movember is all about.

We can’t grow a moustache but we can support and encourage our men! If you have a brother, father, uncle, son, boyfriend, guy friend, male work colleague and you care about their health then this DIY is for you.

The first step is for you to become a Mo Sista. What is a Mo Sista you ask?

“Mo Sistas play a vital role in Movember and men’s health. With the simple wink of an eye, small gesture of appreciation or encouraging words – Mo Sistas can influence men to participate and grow a Mo. More importantly, the awareness Mo Sistas can help raise is a game changer. Relative to men, women are extremely health conscious and open to talking about their issues. Mo Sistas can act as mentors and leaders by encouraging men to take part in Movember, to be aware of their own health, live a healthy lifestyle and get checked regularly. Here at Elephantshoe we have created a few fun printables to help you MO-tivate your men and be a better Mo Sista.

Download our “I think you’re Movelous” wall calendar. Print it out & hang it up somewhere handy at work & in your home so that everyone can keep track of the days left to grow their fine moustache. Calendar available in pink, red or black.

Mo Bros need to eat well to keep their moustaches growing healthily. Download these cute printables, print on a thick paper stock & cut out along the outlines. Stick these “Movalicious” buttons and colorful moustaches to the top of a painted pegs with glue or double sided tape. You can then use these pegs for a range of fun things. Attach them to the top of a Mo Bros lunch bag, place them on your fridge (check out how to make a magnet here), hang your washing, do what ever you can to help the men in your life take note of Movember & then intern their health.

Leave a short note around the house or at the office with these Movember notecards. Pinning up words of encouragement & leaving reminders for your Mo Bros will help them stay on track with Movember and will bring awareness. Show your Mo Bros that you . . . “Love the Mo.”

Neo & Ayanda's Styled Engagement Shoot

I am beyond chuffed to finally share Neo & Ayanda's Styled Engagement Shoot with you today.

We met Neo for the first time at this years Wedding Expo, she was visiting Jozi all the way from Sun City where she works and lives. She loved our vintage stand and we immediatly clicked. Since that day we have conceptualised and styled Ayanda & Neo's Engagement Shoot together with our friends over at Blackframe Photography. We've also designed their Save the Dates, Invitations, all their Wedding Stationery for example, Menus, Seating Plan, Gifting etc and we also had loads of fun creating the yummy Candy & Dessert Table for their special day. We have loads of photos and memories to share with you from all these elements however first up is their Shoot. 

Neo & Ayanda were just the perfect couple to work with and best of all we have become friends through the creative process. {Did I mention how stylish they are?}.

Neo & Ayanda's wedding date was set for the Twenty Second of September, Twenty Twelve.
